Young people are part of both the audience for community radio and its future. In its World Radio Day 2026 report, Bus Radio records the launch of 10 journalism clubs in public primary and secondary schools across Kajiado.

The report describes the clubs as a way to nurture young media talent and civic engagement. It also records the station’s commitment to grassroots football and youth sports development.

Elsewhere, the same report describes young people taking part in live studio discussions about gender-based violence. These are different activities, connected by the station’s interest in hearing younger voices.

The figure of 10 clubs comes from the station’s 2026 report. This article does not claim a current club membership total or announce new enrolment.
